Terms & Conditions
These terms govern bookings for courses, workshops and mentoring sessions with Loomline Studio, and apply from the point a place is confirmed.
Parties and scope
These terms apply to any individual or organisation that books a course, workshop or mentoring session with Loomline Studio, referred to here as the client. They cover the booking, delivery and payment of all training services offered through our website or by direct enquiry, and take effect as soon as a booking is confirmed in writing.
Booking and quotes
Bookings are made by enquiry through the website, by phone or by email, followed by a written confirmation stating the course or session, dates, format and price. A place is only reserved once this confirmation has been sent and, where required, a deposit received; verbal agreements alone do not hold a place.
Performance of the work and access to the premises
In-person sessions require the client to arrive with any equipment specified in advance, such as a working laptop, and to be present for the full length of the session, since content cannot practically be repeated for latecomers. Online sessions require a stable internet connection and a device capable of screen sharing; access to our studio outside scheduled sessions is not included unless separately agreed.
Prices, payment after completion and invoices
Prices are confirmed in writing before a course begins and are based on the agreed group size, session count and format. Payment is due on completion of a course, or at the end of each individual mentoring session, by cash or bank transfer against an invoice; no other payment method is accepted.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Cancellations and rescheduling requests are handled according to our separate cancellation policy, which sets out refund and credit rules based on how much notice is given. Loomline Studio reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a course due to insufficient enrolment or trainer unavailability, in which case a full refund or an alternative date is offered.
Liability, insurance and complaints
We take reasonable care in the design and delivery of our courses, but we do not guarantee specific career outcomes, and our liability for any claim relating to a course is limited to the fee paid for that course. Complaints about the conduct or content of a session should be raised in writing within fourteen days of the session so that we can investigate and respond.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
