Courses and pricing
Prices below are starting points for each course and reflect our standard group size and session count. Custom formats, extra sessions or fully private delivery are quoted individually.
Web Design Foundations Course
from £450 per courseFor people starting out, changing careers, or trying to fill gaps left by scattered self-teaching. Over six weeks we work through layout, typography, colour and basic prototyping in Figma, applying each lesson to one ongoing website brief. Graduates finish with a completed brief for their portfolio and a clear list of what to study next.
- ✓Six weekly sessions of three hours
- ✓Figma setup and template guidance
- ✓One real client-style brief
- ✓Written feedback on every exercise
Figma for Web Design Course

Across four sessions we cover components, auto layout, variants and prototyping using real website examples rather than generic exercises. Best suited to people who need to use Figma properly for their day-to-day work.
- ✓Four sessions of two and a half hours
- ✓Component and auto-layout deep dive
- ✓Prototyping and developer handoff
- ✓Practice files to keep and reuse
UX/UI Design Intensive
from £650 per courseFor designers who already work visually but want a firmer grip on research, information architecture and usability testing. The course runs over eight weeks and builds towards a full case study, from user interviews through to a tested prototype. It suits junior designers preparing for their first dedicated UX role.
- ✓Eight weekly sessions
- ✓User research and interview methods
- ✓Wireframing and information architecture
- ✓Usability testing with real participants
Portfolio Building Workshop
from £220 per courseFor self-taught designers or recent graduates who already have work but no clear way of presenting it. Over three sessions we select, edit and write up two or three projects, then build a simple portfolio site to hold them. Best suited to people who already have some design files, even rough or unfinished ones.
- ✓Three sessions of two hours
- ✓Case study writing guidance
- ✓Project selection and editing
- ✓Simple portfolio site build
One-to-One Web Design Mentoring
from £65 per hourFor anyone who prefers individual attention over a fixed group course, whether that means working through a live project, preparing for interviews, or filling a specific gap in Figma or basic CSS knowledge. Sessions are booked individually and the agenda is set by the client at the start of each one. Works well alongside one of the group courses or entirely on its own.
- ✓Flexible scheduling, daytime or evening
- ✓Agenda set by the client each session
- ✓Screen-share review of live work
- ✓Written notes after each session
No-Code Website Build Course
from £380 per courseFor small business owners, freelancers and career-changers who want to build and maintain their own site using a visual tool such as Webflow. Over five sessions we design, build and publish one real website, covering layout, responsive behaviour and basic content management. Participants leave with a published site and the knowledge to update it themselves.
- ✓Five sessions of three hours
- ✓One real website designed and published
- ✓Responsive layout for mobile and desktop
- ✓Basic content management setup
What past students say
They quoted a fixed price and stuck to it, which after two agency experiences that didn't happen was frankly a relief. The site loads fast and updating the blog myself is straightforward.
Michael T., Leeds, GBCommunication was direct throughout, no waiting for someone to relay a message from a designer I never spoke to. One section needed reworking after launch and it was fixed within the week, no extra charge.
Sarah K., Bristol, GBSix months in and the site still runs cleanly on mobile, which was the main worry given our old one. Getting a straight answer to a question by phone rather than a support form made the whole process easier.
David R., Manchester, GBBefore you book
How do I book a project with the studio?
Get in touch through the contact form with a short description of what you need; we reply with either a follow-up question or a written quote, usually within two working days.
How is the price worked out, and can it change once work starts?
We quote a fixed price based on the scope you describe at enquiry stage. If the brief genuinely changes partway through, such as adding a section that wasn't discussed, we agree any adjustment in writing before doing the extra work; the original quote never moves on its own.
When is payment due?
Payment is due on completion, once the site is reviewed and handed over. We accept bank transfer or cash paid directly at the final handover meeting.
What happens if I need to cancel or postpone a booked project?
Let us know as early as possible. Cancelling before design work begins carries no charge beyond any hours already spent on the brief; postponing simply moves your slot to the next available date.
Ready to book a place or ask a question?
Send us a short message about what you want to learn and your current level, and we'll call you back within one working day with dates and availability.
